For this reason, July 14 is considered "Evvel July" according to the beliefs of Arab Alevis living in Turkey. Evvel July, which is said to date back 4,000 years, is the day when the harvest was harvested and sacrifices were offered to July, the god of fertility, in order to ensure that the next harvest period would be fertile during the period of polytheistic religions. Even after the transition to monotheistic religions, this tradition continues in the Arab Alawite geography.
